Jericho, HBK, Hart, Flair, Randy Savage, Undertaker....all had great characters, mic skills, and great technical ability.

undertaker didnt talk forever

the rock was the best on the mic. When him and foley were together that shit was hilarious. And Hogan is goat of course

His character was part of that an insanely good. But once he got on the mic he was awesome. Hogan has no technical abilities at all but his abilities on the mic and as the "face" of WWE was huge. That and his work in NWO. But if you're going best wrestlers, he lacks one key area...he sucked at wrestling. Punch, kick stomach, Hulk a mania punches, body slam, Boot, leg drop. That's Hulk Hogan. The Rock was the best on the Mic I agree. Him, Stone Cold, and DX with Shawn and HHH were the best Mics I can remember.

Yeah Hogan is highly overrated.

1. His biggest move was his leg drop from the top rope.

2. His leg drop is what caused his down fall. That move fucked his hips up and back up. He had the biggest biceps and those should've been the focus of his main moves not his fucking legs.

3. As already been said he wasn't a great technical wrestler at all. He was great because he got to win and always played the face (until nwo) and got to "Hogan Up"

4. He was a good face because of all the GREAT heels.

5. Without the being unbeatable and "hoganinng up" the nwo wouldn't have been that big of a deal, but since he was a big deal because of the things mentioned is what made that better that and Hall & Nash.

NWO never works without Hogan. He turned into the greatest heel possibly in wrestling history with the NWO. It was brilliant. WCW screwed themselves financially but the NWO was perfect. Because of the NWO, we ended up with DX too which was awesome.

The Hitman
Randy Savage(seriously underrated wrestler)
The Rock
Stone Cold(both for their mic skill)
Jericho
Hogan
Kurt Angle/RVD/Sting as far as best I've seen

Man hogan will always be #1. He freaking body slammed Andre the giant. He wasn't some amateur technical wrestler. He was the baddet Muthafucka on the block and when he hulked up it was the greatest thing in wrestling!

Does anyone remember when mankind was new to the wwf?? Ripping his hair out an shit... That was so creepy. I fuckin hated him! Lolol

I never said it would've worked without him, no way it would've. However it didn't work just because of him either.

Hogan being the 3rd member of nwo might have been the most shocking thing in wrestling history. All the shit thrown in the ring was great. And the Lebron remix is fugking hilarious

Id put Savage over taker and Bret.

Angle is also better than hogan and Jericho and truly he would be better than the Rock and SCSA because Angle was also good on the mic and his wrestling skills were 2nd to none.

I can't put him over Rock or Stone Cold because of how revolutionary their face and heels were. Angle wasn't nearly as good a heel nor hero but absolutely a better wrestler. Should have put him over Hogan and tied with jericho. It's hard to really balance. The things Hogan, Rock, Stone Cold did on the mic were just legendary. In a event that is staged, the ones at selling it the best at some point become the best at it too don't they? It seems really hard to be technical AND great at the other things. It's why I had Hart so high and Jericho above Angle.

Hogan was revolutionary because he was by himself.

Angle was there in the middle of an established hogan Nash mankind SCSA rock DX and a plethora of other bad ass wrestlers. You forget about that, he came in the middle of all of that without all of the background training and without all of the working in the independents circuits which is why i out Angle where I did.

Hart was hart but i still put Rock SCSA above him too.

SCSA used to be a more wrestling technician like the others until he broke his neck and thats whenever he turned into the style he used at the end.

I also will give SCSA more credit because he made his own gimmick.

I give hogan less credit because he was all push from Vince sr and Vince jr. Without SCSA fighting for his shit and having his own ideas and saying fuck the shit yall want me to wear im goona wear my black trunks and etc he would've never made it. They didn't focus on SCSA like they did on The Rock and hogan and Bret.

I also give Jericho a hell of a lot more credit because of the same reason. He worked his ass off and had to earn everything he got. Plus he's great on both. I don't think Bret was as great on the mic plus he's a bitch for making them do the Montreal screw job. Vince tried a thousand different ways to work out an ending for that and Bret turned him down every time. So Vince did what he had to do and nobody knew what was going to happen except Vince.

Owen hart was just as good and Bret IMHO. He was great. He could wrestle just as good and he was open to everything and he was a better person to everybody.

So i take into account how hard they had to do it themselves like what CM punk had to do to get what he got compared to what Cena did to get his.

Daniel Bryan vs Randy Orton. That kind of stuff.

Handed to Randy Orton and he smokes cigs and has failed the wellness policy twice one more time and he's done for good.

CM punk doesn't smoke, drink, take any kind of drugs. Daniel Bryan isn't "straight edge" but he doesn't use anything that I know and but he might drink some alcohol here or there and with his injury might take pain killers. Something punk won't do at all.

They worked their asses off just to get to wwe. They told Heyman to fire punk every week when he was in charge of Ohio valley wrestling that was their developmental and Heyman said no. I'm not firing him because 1. He's good and 2. If you want to fire him you do it your fucking self. So it never happened and Heyman went with punk the whole time. While punk had to earn everything. Unlike randy Orton. Unlike hogan, Cena and others.

Jericho Austin Bryan michaels had to earn it.

Punk annoys the hell out of me he is just a whinny little girl and constantly quits. Very annoying. Jericho has fought everywhere in the World and transcends all kinds of styles which is awesome. Dean Milenko is a great wrestler too but boring outside of the ring. Most technical wrestlers suck with characters it seems. It's almost like their style gets in the way of being a Heel because Heel's are more likely to do under handed, dirty tricks, run from fights, be out classed yet win surprisingly. Jericho was a heel for awhile and did it well as did Hart but it's rare.

Punks only quit once. The other time atafter money in the bank was a work.

However the reason he is that way is because of how passionate he is for the business. He's not just there to collect a paycheck otherwise he would've been in the feud against the authority and fought HHH at WM and got paid a lot. And just sit back and put in matches each night half assing it and still be better than 90% of everybody else while half assing it but he's not that way. He's a different breed.

I haven't seen enough Punk. I'm at work so give me a Punk match to watch to see his talents. I've seen a few and thought...decent but nothing more than more lightweights with power like RVD.

Btw...Tazz....awesome technical wrestler

I'll get on YouTube and see if they are on there.

He had some bad ass ones in Ohio valley wrestling that were hour long wrestling ones.

And his match against the Rock and Cena were spectacular. Plenty more and I'll see what all i can find on YouTube.

sorry guys wwf/wwe was never as good as nwo/sting/flair and those guys

that is when wrestling was at its peak, wwe was at its peak during the rock/scsa days

these days wrestling is watered down and boring
