You would think the insane SEC bias would have died down a bit after the Big 10 bent them over the last 2 years but no it just got worse.

Can anyone tell me how Texas who is returning 9 starters out of 22 is higher than Ohio State? Why is Texas #1 and when did Arch Manning actually look like an elite player? He looked like a poor man's Trevor Lawrence, didn't they lose like all of their key players?

Also why Alabama and LSU so high? They both kind of sucked last year and also lost some key guys especially Alabama.

Why should they jump up over Illinois who is pretty much returning the whole team from the team last year that beat SC in the bowl game?

At least they are ranked higher than Alabama in both polls. I honestly don't think Alabama should be ranked, last year they were barely top 20 caliber and they are obviously worse this year without Milroe.

OU and Texas AM are the ones that kill me the most that and SC over Illinois, didn't USC beat Texas AM in the bowl game and didn't OU absolutely suck last year?

ACC looks pretty solid this year with Miami, FSU, Louisville, then others like SMU, Clemson, GT, might be as good as the SEC this year.

The AP Poll is just a joke now. M.I.A. is #2 because I guess beating a UF squad that hasn't scored more than a single touchdown against any/every FBS opponent is really impressive. They damn near lost, despite the box score. Oklahoma controversially beats Auburn by 7 and they belong ahead of FSU, the team that slew Alabama by 14? Fuck David Jablonski with a mace (Put OU at #1 for no goddamn reason).

The absolute retardation of pollsters is astounding to me. It shouldn't be, but it is.

At least Haley Sawyer finally learned that "just winging it" is a dereliction of duty: even if she mostly copy/pastes the previous Top 25 poll, it's better than the trash she handed in after the USF/UF game.
