ESPiN's blatant pro-Bama propaganda leading up to the selection was hilarious... and Saban was just sad. :sadyes
Paraphrasing... "Bama only got blown the fuck out by 6-6 Chokelahoma because that game was sandwiched between epic matchups against titans like... FCS Mercer and 5-6 Auburn." :eb

Saban also said they got it right and the best teams are in the playoffs. Said no coach should be complaining.

I didn't bother to watch after teams were announced.
The best ESPiN spin was their infographic noting that mighty Bama was 5-1 against teams over .500, while SMU was 5-2 (ignoring that Bama was 1-2 against .500 teams :lolthumb ).

I know OSU had that terrible loss but its not like Michigan is god awful and dominated them or something like OU did Alabama.
They missed 2 chipshot field goals to lose basically.
Ohio State beat Penn State on the road, also beat Indiana and Penn State beat no one like that and lost to Oregon by more on a neutral site vs at home.
CraigKressel wrote:Texas played 2 ranked teams all year and lost both times, Georgia, including 1 that was domination.
CraigKressel wrote:Other than that I am pretty good with the playoff rankings though other than I think the whole system is trash with the bye weeks for chumps like ASU and Boise.
CraigKressel wrote:Should be interesting I expect Ohio State to probably blow the game vs Tennessee since that is what Ryan Day does, Penn States path is extremely easy.
CraigKressel wrote:I like ND to crush Georgia in round 2, Honestly I think Georgia sucks and is just lucky, GT dominated them the whole game until they ran out of defensive backs, also the refs stole the game with that bullshit Pass INT where Georgias WR committed offensive PI.

It was immediately after they announced SMU. They went straight to Saban. You can YouTube it, but doubt you’re that interested/vested. :ROFL2
