So driving and doing any of that is wrong because it would pull away your attention from the detail just as talking on the phone. Pretty sure he said he uses hands free device to talk as well.

And again, when you drive a car do you ever use your phone and did you ever? Do you ever eat while driving or did you ever drive under the influence?

Notice the important factor. He won't do it with his kids in the car. Directly meaning he knows it is dangerous does it not? So it's okay for him to endanger others, as long as his kids aren't around? I mean honestly talking I don't have an issue with, but apparently FSU can't do it responsibly, or he'd be fine doing it with his kids life at risk too ;)

Well first off, you have ignored my question several times. DO YOU OR DO YOU NOT talk on cell phone, text, tinder, email. Or anything new else and or did you while driving?

Eat and drink while driving?

Drive under the influence?
Drive while sleepy?
Mess with the radio?

Now as to KW, I don't actually know if he stated what all he would or wouldn't do with his kids in the car. I know he said he wouldn't follow through with the road rage with them but the other stuff was a mixture, AND he also said he was fucking with you. So I think he was being a bit over board but not sure.

I actually keep my phone in my pocket unless I'm expecting something very important. It's impossible to focus and drive texting. I have done it before, and noticed how unsafe it was. I like my life.

I'll keep my phone in my pocket until I need it.

Drinking and eating is just as bad or worse.

Ever drove under the influence?

Thing is I agree with you but we've all done it. Just don't act like you don't do it and won't ever do it is what I was getting too.

If you've never driven under the influence and won't ever Then get on your soapbox and sing out loud!

Not like I think I haven't done it. Just saying if you do it, I see it, and you are driving poorly because of it. I'm going to remind you to pay attention to the road by reving, getting attention, then doing the phone down thing. If you have an issue when I do it...and want to say something I'll just rev more to piss you off hah. If you want to take it further we can, but no one usually will. People get scared and put the phone away usually. My bike is big, and loud, and my helmet and jacket don't show that I'm actually not that big....so I look intimidating on the bike. Mainly because the custom pipes are so fucking loud. I wear ear plugs now it's been hurting my ears

Just remember a cage will always beat a bike if you try to play chicken with it.

If you're still in the area there are some nice backroads southwest of I75 and state road 50. Some decent turns, twisties and even some elevation (for Florida).

Closer to Tampa there is Patterson road it's short, but about the best thing around here. There is also the "tail of the gecko" southeast of Tampa, plus some old mining roads east of Brandon.

Wait until you get some miles under your belt. I can't even count the number of times I've had bad experiences with cagers (bike lingo for the driver of a car/truck/suv/cuv) ranging from bizarrely annoying (e.g., some dumb broad throwing hands-full of pistachio shells out the window) to downright scary (e.g., old guy turning directly in front me, forcing me off the road barely avoiding losing it in the ditch). For some reason I take shitty, inconsiderate drivers so much more personally when I'm on a motorcycle. Maybe it has something to do with the level of vulnerability, but I've been sent into such a rage before I kicked the shit out of the door of a car being driven by a lady swerving into my lane. I've always made it a point to get as far from civilization as possible when i ride.

My trip today was a nightmare

Went a new way from Tampa to Melbourne, got lost, phone died. Trip took five hours.

Hit a massive thunderstorm without my rain gear, while in a construction zone with strong wind so gravel is fucking everywhere and I can't see shit because the windscreen is too high. I almost lost control quite a few times and fish tailed really bad on a curve accidently hitting the rear brake too soon.

Then I ran out of gas because the stretch of road had almost 30 miles of no gas stops this late. Ended up walking a mile and a half to the exit I had almost made it too. Not one fucking person would stop to help people are shit fucks. Someone did drive me back though I gave them the gas canister I bought as payment seemed fair(couldn't hold it anyways after). My back is so fucked right now from having to lean into the windscreen to see I've got like six knots in my back. Fuck this day sucked

I never had real road rage until on the Bike dude. People piss me off so easy on it because of the vulnerability I agree. I drive in it daily now. Most people respect you and give you room and pay attention when you're near...but those certain few don't give a fuck. So far BMW drivers have been the worst hands down. I swear I will start keying BMW's soon. I've gotten angry four times so far, and three were douche bags in a BMW tailgating, or on phone and coming in my lane, or cutting me off trying to get passed someone else and making me slam down the brakes enough to need to down shift twice to get out of red

I would recommend not driving new routes and roads while still getting used to your bike. You don't know your bike all the way yet, and you don't know the roads at all yet.

I am wary of back roads but where I live there aren't many. So haven't had to quick react to bad potholes as of yet. I have practiced it while driving home at night I'll pick random things on the road to maneuver around quickly just so when I need to use it its natural. Actually did get out of a board on the highway in the rain which came up very quick was kind of proud of that counter steer.
