Why do you live where you currently do?

I live in my house because lost of the things that I own or stole are inside there, also I live in a 90% white, 10% mexican region, so no blacks. Its nice. Also the winters are beautiful here. I live a bit west of Hartford CT strictly because of work. Not many people dream of moving east when growing up in Small Town Michigan, but I'm quite glad that I did. Not only is there a lot of history and culture in the northeast, but it's a stunningly beautiful natural area as well. The wife and I plan to go to Maine this weekend after spending the last touring wineries in Vermont. Everything is so accessible and there's such diversity in the activities the region offers.

:lol: I am able to work from home and my manager said that I could move anywhere I wanted to but we don't have the funds just yet and we have checked Georgia's home schooling laws and they are just about the same here in Oklahoma. Maryland has a really high black population as well. I know they are under the mason Dixon line but I don't think anyone considers it the south

I've never considered it the south, nor does anyone from the south. People here don't consider it the south either.


Maryland does have a good bit of blacks well using the 2010 consensus, and it probably hasn't changed much. BUT they are mostly in certain areas. I mean I don't know how many live in Baltimore alone but outside of that and Close to DC, they aren't "everywhere", possibly a few other counties. It is the only northern state in the top 7 or 8 of % wise. Deleware is the state that stops it, but I wouldn't even count delegate. It's >200k black people give it 20.95% black while marylands 1.7million+ give it 29%


Delaware at #8 has 198k
Arkansas and like #12 has under 500k
Missouri at #19 has like 700k

Those are the only 3 in the top 20 that have under 1million.
