All my dogs, my parents dogs, my grand parents dogs, and even my brothers/sister n laws dogs all listen better to me than them.

Our dogs would ignore Ashley or she'd have to yell and I could look at them and they knew what to do. Her maw maw adopted one of ours when we moved and she now runs out of the fence when the gates opened. I went home and saw her and it's been 2 years. She ran out and I yelled her name 1 time, she stopped, turned around, came back and laid at my feet. They were shocked as they have never been able to get her to stop because she follows the other dog out and the other dog came back too. She stayed in the 10 days we was there except 1 other time when she didn't know I was there and went to run and I just said her name and she stopped.

All the other dogs were hyper when people would visit or barking (especially makes) and I could say their name in a quiet but deep tone and they'd stop.
And when I have to take care of my bros dog he is a complete 180 than when they do it.


So IF she's worth it to you, the dog can be different with you, but if you hate it and it hates you, yall are pretty much doomed.

Off topic rant: my new neighbors have a 9month of golden retriever that they don't train, never take for walks, and leave home all day alone bc they work in NY. So naturally, that dog has found ways to break out of the house and be a pain in the ass like a teenager.

Now that it's big enough ~80-90 lbs, it easily jumps the 4 foot fence and it's either on my property making a fucking mess or roaming up and down the block. Out of nowhere I'll here something in the backyard planter and I see this dog up on it's hind legs with paws tearing the screens staring into my kitchen windows (looking to play with my dog). In the last 2 weeks I've chased and chained that fucking dog by it's neck collar, dragged it back onto their property and locked it in their home close to a dozen times. So fucking annoying lol.

It's only a matter of time before it gets hit by a car which is a shame bc it's a beautiful dog, but the owner's simply don't get that having a dog (especially one that size) is a responsibility and requires tons of time training. Either that or I'm going to drown it in Barnegat Bay for fucking my yard up one too many times.
