I joined it, because it seems like a good deal and the Brit Motorcycle owners club I am going to join in the Atlanta area works pretty closely with them.

I'm a member. I joined largely to support all the good work they do for us, but I also dig the AAA style benefits. I've had my AMA lapel pin stuck proudly to the visible side of my rucksack.
