GG, JD. Don't like to see you sad, but this was revenge for 2017. Mike Norvell deserved this, too.

Thanks, man! It's been a while. Oregon pretty much knocked it out of the park today, too.

Did you end up moving to FL?

I'm currently in PA. It's looking like Tennessee, Arkansas or Texas as my future location. Florida probably won't happen as my wife is opposed to it. We shall see. I think the panhandle of Florida would be great (Destin).

Oregon is beating up on a lower tier team. FSU beating Bama is huge imo... especially after last year.

Better than losing to a lower-tier team. JSU... :facepalm2

Destin is a really nice area. Definitely a good place to be. FWIW, I liked living in the Dallas-Fort Worth area, too. Arkansas and Tennessee are pretty poor (bad roads/infrastructure) and not for me.

I don't blame your wife for not wanting Florida. We have plenty of kooks and so many babes that Jeremy Pruitt's wife made him quit. Just remember it's an inverted state, so the further north you go, the more Southern the culture is. The reason FL has 2 hockey teams is because so many people from the cold states move down here.

@FESON My wife doesn't like Florida because of the heat/humidity. We vacationed in Pigeon Forge this summer. I freaking loved tbut the wife and kids were a mix. My step daughter wants to move to Arkansas for some reason. I still want Florida but willing to compromise to get away from the winters up north.

Eye_of_Horus, you should take them on a trip to one of the panhandle beaches (like Destin). The beach towns, at least as far as I'm concerned, are not nearly as hot and humid as the inland parts, although a lot of that is because of the breeze. I suppose there is saltwater humidity, but as far as I'm concerned, it's a lot milder. The sun-baked white sand on the beaches around 10-20+ yards from the water get pretty hot, but the wet sand and water are cool. There are breezes all the time and the sunsets are great.

Places like Destin and Panama City also have the city conveniences, too. If you want to go to more of a small beach town, there are a bunch there, too, like Port St. Joe and Mexico Beach.

Yes, places like Orlando and Tallahassee can be brutal *outside* in the summer, but we have AC and are within ~2 hours of loads of beaches. I used to go to Mexico Beach with my family at least once a year, but often more. Just typing about it makes me want to go to the beach again.
