Up until PSU/SMU, the ACC had a winning record against Big 10. 3-3 now in 2024.

I’ve never beat the conference drum. Maybe for good reason, but FSU has always done well against the SEC and Big 10. (As long as I’ve been watching and not counting 2024).

I'll never forget a trash 7-6 VT team beat the Big Ten champion and national champion Ohio State Buckeyes by double digits in the Horseshoe. Ohio State is also 0-3 against FSU and has not played a single game in Tallahassee. I think FSU is like 9-2 against Big Ten teams all time (that does not include teams that were not in the Big Ten at the time, like Nebraska when they were in the Big 8/12). There was one loss to Michigan and one loss to #3 Penn State in 3OT in the 2005/2006 Orange Bowl.

There are 2 areas where the Big Ten is superior to the ACC.
1. Better brands/names.
2. Better management (but every other conference has better management, including the Pac-2).

Young team that turned into a chamipon. Team was like almost all freshman and sophomores thats why 2015 was so disappointing

Kicked vts ass the next season.

3 and 3 what are the matchups though osu psu oregon indiana didn't play any acc teams regular season

Duke was 1 of the best acc teams playing nw who sucks and nw honestly blew that game I watched it.

Bruh... :facepalm2
A 2-10 FSU damn near beat Duke. If Brock Glenn didn't turn the ball over 3 plays in a row, including a Pick 6, FSU wins. Them almost losing to NW isn't saying much. Like M.I.A., their record is way better than their actual quality.

As for the rest of your excuses for why you lost to a 7-6 VT team, :biglol

No championship contender should have trouble beating a VT team AT HOME. Not at VT, which is supposedly pretty tough, but at home. Ohio State ran through the Big Ten like a hot knife through butter, but got soundly defeated by a mediocre-at-best VT team.

ACC > Big Ten at football

Ryan Day is close to getting fired and he has the same number of losses in his entire career as FSU did this year.

:jerkit

Ryan Day inherited a loaded 13-1 team with good infrastructure from Urban Meyer.

Mike Norvell inherited the Willie Taggart experiment with the infrastructure of wet toilet paper.

They both suck. There is no excuse for going 2-10 at Florida state so stop making them for this fucking loser

If you took oregon osu psu out of the big 10 it would probably still have a winning record if they played top to bottom.

I bet USC would have gone undefeated oe close to it with Miami and SMUs schedule

The only reason I care any about conference is bragging rights.

If Bama wins the NC and beats 6-6 sec teams the whole way then no way that Bama team could argue they are the best ever.

If Bama beats 6 sec teams that are 9-11 win teams, and beats their OOC and wins the NC then they accomplished something great.

It’s like I won’t root for auburn or c to win, but I would not hate it if ut and auburn were both undefeated when we played and we got to end both of their streaks. Then I’d love to play them in the SECcg and or playoffs/NC and beat them one more. Ending all of their dreams would be so great

Told you guys, this conference sucks and is on the verge of imploding. Fortunately for the ACC the Big 10 probably doesn't even want FSU now after this pitiful year and the internal issues they have seemed to have had since Jimbo started the downturn.

It will probably depend on if Clemson gets scooped up by the SEC. I'm kind of confused as to why SMU, Cal, Stanford didn't make a bigger push to join the Big 12 or why Cal Stanford didn't stay in the PAC 12 and try to salvage it with Boise, SDSU, etc. Has to be expensive as fuck to travel that far for all team sports and demanding on the athletes.

Makes more sense for the Big 10 west coast 4 cause there are more of them and they have a lot more money.

Big 10, Big 10, Big 10…..whoo!

We bow to your conference circle jerk.

We bow to your almighty 5-4 record.

Whooo! Go Big 10.

Good thing you added USC, Oregon and Washington. Your conference National Championship count is finally respectable over the last 25 years. You know being a a power house conference and all.

Is the Big XII (+IV) also a mid major?
