1. Get rid of week 12 scheduled games and do 1 vs 4, 2 vs 3, 5 vs 6, 6 vs 7 etc week 12, then do a CC game the next week between the winners of the top 4, these conferences are too freaking big now to do this system, either that or get rid of CC games and do everything the same as I mention below but 16 team playoff.
2. Play the bowls 1 week after the season exactly how they were pre playoffs, and the committee can do some good matchups in the bowls, this will prevent opt outs and some of the transfer bullshit cause they will need to play to get in the playoffs.
3. Move the Heisman and awards until after the season
4. Move the transfer portal until after the bowls and 1st round of the playoffs.
5. Do an 8 team playoff after the bowls, 1-8 use the BCS style rankings so there is none of this non transparent committee crap, there can do 25 percent computer, 25 percent ap, 25 percent coaches, 25 percent Committee.
6. Home and away games for the higher seed or a stadium of the home teams choice, like if Ohio State wanted to play in Lucas Oil so it isn't cold out the first 2 rounds, then a championship game neutral site.
