Why is the committee so secretive?

This is something I have always wondered since day 1 of this.
When they have these shows the spokesman never says anything revealing.
Last week they should have said that Alabama will stay ahead of Ohio State if they win unless there is something drastic that happens. Why give the expectations that something might happen, just be upfront about it.
Just say they lost by 31 points to Iowa they cannot be in the playoff unless something drastic happens.

https://www.facebook.com/CFBonFOX/video ... 124221943/Great video here he even speaks about the divisions like I always do, the conference divisions are ruining CFB.
Teams in the same conference play each other about once a decade, all the divisions are lopsided just about every year 1 is way stronger than the other in every conference.

Here is what they should be doing.
1. Record their meetings all of them.
2. Show some highlights from them throughout the year so people know what is being discussed week to week maybe just a 10 or 15 minute highlight of the discussions.
3. The last 2 weeks of the air they should be showing about 30 min to an hour of their discussions so people know what to expect and why they are doing things the way they are.
I don't understand why it is secretive like that, is it just for TV ratings? This should be as transparent as possible, at least the fucking BCS was transparent, you could see everyone's votes at the end like when Houston Nutt basically cheated for the SEC by ranking every team about 5 to 10 spots higher than they were.
