I can't see him doing much better than 9-3 in the regular season. I really can't: Auburn, LSU, and Alabama will always have a leg up on TAMU and his ability to sit on leads and squander them is unmatched. 2012 FSU should have been a lock for an NCG berth and he fucked that up. At the very least, he won't meet expectations of competing for SEC titles every year.

So how long does TAMU keep him around? IMO, 5-7 seasons before they kick him to the curb.

Best fit for Fisher is an NFL offensive coordinator, IMO. Would be a big pay cut though.

You have to wonder how patient they will be, paying him $7.5M, when two coaches making less than half that are currently looking like playoff teams.

Chryst - Wisconsin - $3.2M
Riley - OU - $2.1M

Given the choice of losing Fisher or giving him a $2M raise after a 6-6 (assuming here) season, FSU made the right choice.

He is an excellent recruiter and great playcaller. A really loyal person on top of that. Aggies will win the West in 2 seasons.

I'm expecting a large buyout so going with 4-7 or whatever it was
