No, that would be dumb then Alabama would go over Ohio State.

If Georgia loses to GT and then beats Auburn in the SEC championship that would probably be fine then cause Ohio State would probably go over Georiga but I am not sure they would still so I would rather Alabama win out.

Gotcha. So OSU needs:

Bama > AU (knocks AU out)
Bama > UGA (knocks UGA out)
Miami > Clemson (knocks CU out)
OSU > Wisconsin (Badgers could still somehow sneak in, but not ahead of OSU)

*if one of these doesn't happen, TCU > Oklahoma (I'm assuming this wouldn't vault TCU into the top 4)

I still don't like Ohio St's 12/1 (or 8/1, whatever) odds. Clemson (+800) seems like the best bet to me.

I have Miami beating Clemson in this scenario, but...

Maybe? We learned last year what happens when you put 1-loss teams who didn't win their conference in over 2-loss teams that did.

Yeah, I'm looking at you, Ohio State. :toetap

Other scenarios, Miami loses to Pitt and Clemson. OU loses to TCU could possibly put Ohio State in over TCU and OU but not sure that would happen or if OU loses to WVU.

GT beats Georgia then Georgia beats Auburn in the SEC title. But the best scenario is Ohio State, OU, Miami, Alabama all win out.

The problem was Ohio State beat Michigan, Wisconsin, Oklahoma, Nebraska and lost to PSU on a flukey type thing and they had a way better MOV.

PSU wasn't as dominant and lost 39-0 to Michigan and to Pitt. The reason Ohio State might get in over Miami is because Miami wasn't as dominant most of the time and they would only have 1 signature win on the season really compared to 2 or 3 for Ohio State.

I still think Miami would go before them.

GT beating UGA and Pittiful beating Miami are extreme longshots, but this year has been about as crazy as 2007, so it would be fitting. :dog

How did this go from Saban always losing to Auburn when they have 9+ wins to Blowhio praying to Satan to make the playoffs?
