Is the Big XII (+IV) also a mid major?

Of course there are only 2 power conferences now.

And SEC lost its lead with Saban and NIL/transfers and big 10 added better programs.

Big 10 has better coaches right now.

Good thing you added USC, Oregon and Washington. Your conference National Championship count is finally respectable over the last 25 years. You know being a a power house conference and all.

There is more than the championship. Especially when you get screwed out of opportunities and the SEC gets them gifted.

Big 10 hasnt won any in basketball really and most years they have a lot of teams making it far in the tournament

2019 is a good example OSU beats 3 top 15 teams in a row by double digits and LSU jumped them for beating a mediocre georgia team so they got he easy first round.

2011 should have been oklahoma state

2012 should have been OSU but the ncaa doesnt punish sec teams only other majors like fsu miami ou osu mich usc when is the last time georgia bama florida lsu were punished and they had like 10x the incidents those other programs did.

2017 and 2018 osu should have been in

23 fsu instead of bama why is georgia the 2 seed without beck? Why not 4?

Why do bad losses only matter for Ohio State when considering playoffs

2014 was all but eliminated until 59 to 0.
2017 eliminated by iowa
2018 purdue

But clemsons 2 embarrassing losses didnt matter in 2 seasons

Bamas this year or 2017
Bama got the shit beat out of them by ou

When osu loses bad the media obsesses over it.

Bama lost to clemson in 2018 like osu did to florida yet not a word was said about how crap they were.

How come im not hearing sec is slow after osu raped tinyc?

And why doesnt georgias qb injury matter but fsus did and so did osus they kept saying they need to see how good cardale is. Gunner didnt look amazing they looked lucky.

I’ve never pounded the conference drum. I look at SOS and can sleep easy. I mean we played LSU two years in a row in 2022 and 2023. By “played” I mean beat. LSU was also SEC West champs in 2022 and had the Heisman winner in 2023.

We have BAMA the next two years and UGA the following 2. Notre Dame sprinkled in. Then Clemson every year. Miami and UF every year when it mattered. We’ve beaten Wisconsin, Michigan in recent memory.

SOS, SOS, SOS….whoo!

But I’m pulling for any non SEC team this year. (Again)

That is part of what this post is about.

Schedules are not made equal, Indiana missed Illinois, Iowa, USC, PSU, Oregon and Sean McFag was somehow saying that meant the Big 10 was weak also its not like ND is some chump and won by 50 it wasn't that big of a beatdown a couple of coaching decisions different and it might have gone down to the wire. Solid win but not some embarrassing beat down like Tennessee took.

OSU always plays PSU and Michigan and usually a big OOC opponent this year it got messed up cause Oregon and Washington joined the Big 10 they were supposed to play Washington. Next year they play Texas.

The whole conference thing is caused by ESPN for ratings for their money maker the SEC, before these big contracts like in the 80s and 90s they almost never talked about conferences just teams, bowl games and rivalries. No one said the SEC was the best conference until that whole LSU USC OU, Auburn OU USC debate those 2 years then it became full on promotion of SEC after that and exploded with the OSU Florida game cause OSU had 51 days off, got their best weapon injured the first play and played like trash. Troy smith looked like he was playing on a field made out of butter.

1 and 6 in bowls so far.

1-9 now! :chewy

ACC will be 1-12 if Louisville doesn't win. :ROFL

Told you guys, this conference sucks and is on the verge of imploding. Fortunately for the ACC the Big 10 probably doesn't even want FSU now after this pitiful year and the internal issues they have seemed to have had since Jimbo started the downturn.

It will probably depend on if Clemson gets scooped up by the SEC. I'm kind of confused as to why SMU, Cal, Stanford didn't make a bigger push to join the Big 12 or why Cal Stanford didn't stay in the PAC 12 and try to salvage it with Boise, SDSU, etc. Has to be expensive as fuck to travel that far for all team sports and demanding on the athletes.

Makes more sense for the Big 10 west coast 4 cause there are more of them and they have a lot more money.

Big 10, Big 10, Big 10…..whoo!

We bow to your conference circle jerk.

We bow to your almighty 5-4 record.

Whooo! Go Big 10.

1 thing you don't look at is who they actually played in the bowls, the Big 10 always plays the toughest bowl schedule usually a near road game half the time and they always play the best teams for the most part. They usually always have the most NY6 teams or tied with the SEC for the most and ACC usually has 1 sometimes 2.

ACC usually plays like ACC 2 vs SEC 4 or 5 or Big 10 4 or 5 games like that and a bunch of mid majors etc.

Like why is Louisville playing Washington? Michigan played Bama, Iowa played up to Missouri, Big 10 had 3 playoff games in the 1st round.

Is Alabummer good or trash? Even Alabummer fans admit they suck (not as much as 2024 FSU). And outside of horrendous turnovers in the beginning, Michigan was outscored and outplayed.

Why is Loserville playing Washington? Because that's whom the bowls picked? Louisville didn't get to the ACC title game or anything. It should be easy for a mighty B1G team to beat a lowly ACC team, especially one that's 7-6 while at home.

"Iowa played up to Missouri." They motherfucking lost! Jeez, that's like saying FSU "played up" to fucking Memphis. It doesn't matter. A loss is still a loss.

My point is the acc gets picked for lower bowls because no one watches their fucking games and they suck. Big 10 almost always has the toughest bowl schedule.

Games are 4 quarters btw and Michigan forced those turnovers. Alabama couldn't handle the pass rush

I completely agree, but it still paints a better picture of the game. Like how M.I.A. "beat" Cal by a point but it wasn't some back-and-forth game. It also says a lot about how ineffective Michigan's offense was. They were playing not to lose and were lucky Alabummer's offense couldn't muster a TD and a FG in the second half.

i only tuned in after halftime so I can't comment on the turnovers from the first half.
