I've never seen a #1 team, ESPECIALLY Alabama, go almost completely under the radar like they have. It's like Alabama is just there. They're not putting 700 yards on everyone, or scoring 40 before the half, or doing any of the things other top teams are doing.

No, they're just quietly dominating opponents on their schedule in the ugliest way they possibly can. Alabama has one thing left to prove in this dynasty run, and that's that they can go undefeated and win an unprecedented 3 straight national championships. 2011 best defense in 25 years(maybe ever). 2012 best offensive line in 3 decades(maybe ever).


2013? Who knows. They just keep winning. And they don't give a lowly damn what anyone thinks about them. Because they know if they keep winning, they're gonna be in Pasadena come January. I'm sure Oregon thinks they're already in. They shouldn't though. They've just now started PAC12 play. It only gets tougher from here on out, and the pressure will only build higher.

Have to disagree with ya a little. Alabama has not flown under the radar, i still see far more coverage of their games on ESPN news then i do Oregon. We Oregon fans know we are not already in, a few fair weather fans and those idiot Florida state and Miami fans on here seem to think we are, but us real fans know better. Oregon keeps up this way, with wins over UCLA and Stanford, they not can, but may very well take over the #1 spot. But, really does not matter, all they have to do is win out and they are in, ranked 1 or 2.

Also, Oregon did not just start PAC12 play, this was in fact their third game.

I've been a fan through and through. I watched every Alabama game during the Frenchoni(however its spelled), Dubose, and Shula eras, and expected a win every Saturday. We competed with everyone we played and hardly ever got truly blown out by anyone during those times. Sure, it sucked having a 6 game losing streak to Auburn and a 5 game streak to LSU, but all in all at least Alabama was still competitive when they sucked. Nothing to hang my hat on for a moral victory, because Alabama doesn't have those. But we stayed tough during the worst times.
