Shooter is dead, haven't heard any other reports of injuries yet.

ANTIOCH, Tenn. – Multiple media outlets are reporting an “active shooting” situation at a theater located in Antioch, Tenn. Wednesday afternoon.

The address reported by The Tennessean is the Carmike Hickory 8.

Nashville Police tweeted that the shooter is dead.

There’s no word on further injuries. The FBI, TBI, and metro police are working the scene.

This is a breaking story. We will update this story when we learn more.

NASHVILLE, Tenn., Aug 5 (Reuters) - A man with a history of mental health issues who wielded an ax and a pellet gun at a Nashville-area movie theater was shot dead by police on Wednesday, authorities said.

The man, identified by Nashville police as Vincente David Montano, 29, was pronounced dead outside the backdoor of the theater, which was showing "Mad Max: Fury Road."

Montano injured three people when he doused the theater with pepper spray, police said. The man also had a device in a backpack that was supposed to look like a bomb, Nashville police said.

First off I'm glad no one was killed by this dipshit.

Second, I'm glad he's dead.

Third, I'm laughing out loud at how dude went level 9000 of fail. "A device that was supposed to look like a bomb, a pellet gun, and a hatchet. He got SWAT teamed and turned into swiss cheese.
