Rousey (11-0) tipped the scales at the maximum limit of 135 pounds during a UFC 190 official weigh-in on Friday in Rio de Janeiro. Correia (9-0), who fights out of Natal, Brazil, weighed in at 134 pounds.

Yeah, I read the Rousey said she wants to put it to her for an extended period of time but imo that isn't a bright plan. Hoping that she was just talking shit and puts this chick down in 30 secs or less.

I'm assuming ppv only. Not worth buying it though unless you are a big ufc fan and interested in the under card because this fight will be over fast just like all the rest of her fights

I voted 1st round tko/ko/submission even though I think it's going 2 or 3 rounds.

I'd like to see Rousey whoop this chicks ass in her home country, in front of her fans, just to see Rousey's legend grow and keep the sport interesting.

As it stands I could give five fucks about MMA with all the busted juice heads.

Round 1: Rousey shrinks the gap aggressively but Correia pivots and catches her with a punch while reaching. Rousey resets, still in kill-mode, and locks up in the clinch. She looks for an outside trip and it off-balances Correia, who back-rolls out of it. She hits her feet with her back on the fence where a hail of leather from Rousey awaits her. A knee to the body lights the fuse and a Mack-truck right hand ignites the bomb. Correia goes limp before she hits the mat.

RIO DE JANEIRO – Oftentimes a rivalry will fizzle after two combatants meet inside the octagon. That’s not the case with Ronda Rousey (12-0 MMA, 6-0 UFC) and Bethe Correia (9-1 MMA, 3-1 UFC).

After her incredible 34-second knockout of Correia in UFC 190’s main event, Rousey rubbed salt in the wound when she turned around and sent a message to Correia, who was unconscious on the mat.
Rousey’s statement was inaudible in real time due to the massive uproar from the crowd at Rio de Janeiro’s HSBC Arena. Following the fight, though, she revealed to MMAjunkie exactly what was said.

“I said the exact same thing she was saying to me at weigh-ins; she was screaming in my face at weigh-ins, she was saying, ‘Don’t cry.’ So, I turned around after I knocked her out and said, ‘Don’t cry,'” Rousey said at UFC 190’s post-fight press conference.

That girl was not unconscious. If those were guys fighting they would have let rousey hit her some more times cuz she immediately started trying to get up. Unless ufc has become pussy across the board
