I'm Rob Lowe and I have Direct TV.
I'm incredibly stupid Rob Lowe and I call a pass play when I have the most powerful running back in the NFL one yard away from winning the Super Bowl for me, and I have cable. (Hey, Pete. Don't be THIS Rob Lowe!)

Lynch led all NFL RBs in td's 2 straight seasons and was top 5 the 2 seasons before those.
- top 5-7 all NFL RBs in yards for 4 straight seasons.
- #1 & #2 Rb in td's 2 straight post seasons.
- Leading Rb in yards 2 straight post seasons.
Feel free to post facts.

Tied for the lead this year. Post season stats are irrelevant when he's playing more games than the other guys. Doesn't lead the league or come close in yards. Or yards per carry. He gets the ball down inside more than other guys and has inflated TD numbers. He's not the best in the league period. Sorry

Being tied at #1 isn't a negative, sorry.
He leads or is top 2 in the most crucial stats for RBs 2 years running, and is top 5-7 in the secondary statistical categories over a 4 year span, and that's regular season only. Post season stats just icing on the cake.
Name me better RBs over the last 4 years with stats to back it up.

the best RB this year was Murray in Dallas. 1845 yards, 13 TDs over double runs of 20+ who gives a shit what happened 4 years ago to determine who the best RB in the league is this year...
also if we want to talk about the past... the obvious best RB in the league didn't play this year. Adrian Peterson is 10x the running back marshawn lynch is. period.
and 10th is not 5-7. sorry dude.

I posted Id give Murray the MVP, but one good season doesn't make any player the best IMO. That thinking is along the same line as saying Dilfer > Marino bc of the Super Bowl ring.
Using stats from the 4 most recent & consecutive seasons isn't "talking about the past", it's gauging a body of work and since dumb ass Peterson didn't work this year his stupid ass isn't in the conversation.

Also, using your logic:
Tony Homo lead all qbs in QB rating; Luck led all qbs in Td's; Brees & Pig Pen led all qbs in yards -> so that means all of them are better than Peyton Manning.
:yes

the dilfer thing doesn't make sense. its fine though, you can think he's the best in the league based on his TDs the last 2 years... but he's not. And thats where our conversation on the matter ends.

4 years, consecutive, and it's yards, td's and all around versatility.

Between Lynch's history of runs on the 1 yard line and New England having their goal line package on the field and Seattle didn't, it is obvious they made the right call :innocent
