JD's a retard. This is not news. I'm pretty sure he's actively trying to find someone else to be the proverbial village idiot on here.

LOL, you can't troll OD. :up

So you finally trolled the wrong person @ the poopla? :champ

It's easy to troll Oregon fans. Just ask them why they advertise their chances of winning a national title on their helmets. Hell, he thinks I'm a Texas fan.

As much effort as you put into trolling Oregon fans, you would think that you would have had some success by now. :dunno

Yeah it could definitely be a bit long. I think it should go back to 2 hours...3 hours of TV programming is too much and really waters down the product. Hell, they aren't even utilizing the extra hour by elevating younger talent, or pushing mid card feuds.

Exactly. I don't mind it being 3 hours and 15 minutes because i DVR every episode and fast forward through anything i don't want to watch.

They repeat shit that just happened TOOOOOO many times just to fill space. If they took out all the times they repeated shit they could add in a Zack Ryder match or a young talent match.

There are many problems with the product today.

They could start doing interviews before the match with all the wrestlers letting them speak why it's important to WIN. And air them as they are walking out.

They need to interview them after after the match.

Quit with all the non finishes. Get a real win/loss finish.

Also there aren't many good heels out there. One reason is, there aren't any more rules. Hitting with a closed fist? Using the 4 count in the ropes? Shameus the good guy has his opponent in the rope for i don't know how long hitting his chest...

So yeah.

I tried watching a few episodes earlier in the year and it is just really cheesy now. Maybe it was cheesy during the attitude era and I was just young so I didn't see just how goofy it was, but now it's kind of just boring. I mean I watch for ten minutes and these new guys just aren't as good. They don't flow as well as the older generation. I went and rewatched matches off of Netflix between Shawn and others and realized they were just better. Kind of can't get into it now, just isn't the same level.

the difference in how many minutes are actually spent wrestling compared to all the other crap is also staggering now. all they do is talk. they hardly wrestle. The number of matches is way down. overall it just sucks now

There is a difference. They spent too much time after the attitude era using the same guys the whole time even past their prime and not developing new guys. That and there not being anymore territories means that guys can't learn the way that the guys pre 2000's did.

There are still some great ass matches but you have to know which wrestlers to watch

Randy Orton and Cena are legit(though honestly Cena is boring as hell and cliche as shit). I just don't see the talent. Is amateur wrestling a lot worse as well? I mean I watched a couple of episodes and very few matches left me impressed and thinking that was art work. None dropped my jaw like ECU either with just insanity like RVD and Sabu matches that just made you feel like one may die today. That and the acting is pretty shitty and the characters lines are so blurred with Heel and Hero. I had no clue who was the bad guy in most matches because they either suck at being Heel's now or they are so restricted in what they can do, the heel just isn't someone you hate.

The heel part.

1. Today's heels don't go 100% into it. They aren't playing heel outside the ring. They also like to be cheered. They have a move set that gets cheered. Like Antonio Cesaro (great STRONG wrestler) who did a swing from the legs. He would swing them around for 25 revolutions or more... Thats a Face move. It made the fans cheer everytime... He's a heel. Luckily he dropped the move.

Another problem. There aren't that many rules to break anymore. There were several reasons they had rules. Like it was against the rules to hit with a clinched fist aka punch someone for 2 reasons. 1. To give the heels something evil to do. #2. To not expose the business. If I get on the top rope and hit you 10 times straight down to your face and your face isn't red and should be bleeding when I'm done and realistically my fist should be broken.... It exposes it for being fake. We know its fake but when youre watching the match you don't want it to be fucking obvious. Like watching a movie. You know its fake but if the acting sucks and the SFX sucks then you can in no way get into the movie.

Also with heels they don't brag as much when they are getting the upper hand and then cower and beg for mercy when the face starts coming back. Think classic Ric flair falling to the corner on his knees then hitting a cheap shot. They don't cheat like they used to in the tag matches. The refs don't check the wrestlers before matches for "foreign objects or substances" like they used to. It's a lot of things that the business has done but the wreslters have went along with it.

Also they get cheered because most of the time they have a better gimmick and are better wrestlers.

Thinking right now.

Bray Wyatt good wrestler and good on the mic
Cesaro great wrestler not so good on mic
The shield debuted as heel and turned face then broke up as Rollins betrayed them.
They got cheered as heels but at first was hated becuase they attacked people 3vs 1 and stuff but still was cheered at times because they could wrestle and put on a match.

So people that are legit.

Daniel Bryan - neck surgery
CM punk - quit at the moment
Randy Orton is legit but stale a lot of times and sometimes just going through the motions. However when he's on, he's on.

John Cena you hit the nail on the head but watch his matches with CM Punk and you'll see something different with him.

Wade Barrett - heel shoulder surgery

She shield members

Seth Rollins great wrestler good on mic -heel
Dean Ambrose - face Great with both
roman reigns he played football before and is kin to the Rock. So wrestling is still new to him but he will be the face of the company soon. He's getting better each day and still has a ways to go. His mic work is far from being great.

Of course Jericho is still goat.
Dolph Ziggler is face and can wrestle.
Jack swagger can wrestle.

A lot of it is you have to be given the ample amount of time to put on a proper story in the ring, and if they only give you 4 min in the rings you can't do shit except hit each other's high spots then hit the pin. And fucking commercials in the middle of a match kills the match everytime.

Pretty good run down there JD. My marvel was how people like the Rock could be the heel at all yet he at times pulled it off with absolute perfection. I think my favorite Heel in terms of whom I hated the most was him actually. When he was with the Nation and DX he was a great anti-hero to the DX rise.

Forgot CM Punk and Jericho. How many fucking heavyweight titles are there now...I'm so confused on who the fuck is the actual champion cause there is like ten of them.

Now there is only 1. It was 2 the WWE Championship for RAW & the World HW

Last year at the next Ppv they combined them and have been carrying two. They just unveiled the new one for Brock who beat Cena and will be champion until Mania to face Option A: Triple H's Choice & the Wrestling Choice Roman Reigns or option B: Vince's choice & $$$$ choice The Rock.

Also your heel can only be as good as the baby faces they fight and pretty much the same with faces. Thats one reason the rock was so damn good along with Austin and DC, etc.... The people Around them elevated their game but also made you think they could win or lose each night. Cena is supercena and when he wrestles nobody thinks he will lose. Brock beat the shot out of him the first time they fought in 2012 yet Cena won. But this time he only list to further the story they needed now. The first time brock should've beat every fucking body he faced that way he was seen as a credible threat to Taker and not another notch.

But yea there's a few replies about your last 2 posts. I can give the rundown on any of it. Also if now being pg or pg13 whatever it is fucks them up. They want to cater to adult men, then kids and families, then back to men, then some women, then kids, then the adult makes......

No fucking tv show does that AND ESPECIALLY NO TV SHOW THAT AIRS ON MONDAY NIGHTS AT 8pm live on USA or any network alike, so it's fucking retarded. In the attitude era it was rated R and anything could go so the heels are a little restricted there
