gb you best watch your ass. did you ride when you were a kid? it takes more than a safety class to get you road worthy. and wearing a harley jacket on a jap[ bike will ge4t your ass in trouble with the wrong people on both sides. its a direct insult to many to wear a harley jacket on a jap bike. most are ok with it but some are not at all. anyway if you are a brand new driver you will probably drop your bike. learn to use your front brake. if you lock down the back breaks you will probably watch your ass end pass you.and people think a bike can stop as fast as it can start so they will pull out in front of you. you worry me gb. canes and atah seem ok bu i am afraid you will not take the riding part serious enough. and i am being straight with you.

Women really do respond well to motorcycle gear. I've always been of the ATGAT mindset (All The Gear All the Time) and I have to admit, my gear is downright sexy. I was always in danger of swerving into oncoming traffic when riding past long and reflective windows. I think that's the most trying thing about not currently having a motorcycle. I have this entire closet dedicated to riding gear: casual, track, rain, cold weather, numerous helmets; my beloved Arai Corsair V which cost nearly $900. There's really no point in selling the stuff as the used market isn't willing to pay anywhere near what's worth replacing it all, but I feel a tug every time I walk past the stuff on my way for a Saturday of finger foods and wine tasting.

I have a bit of a taste for Dainese riding gear - it's fantastic stuff that also happens to look great. Though Italian gear really is wonderful stuff and fairly expensive, my Corsair V helmet is probably the most I've splurged for on riding gear. The way I see it good gear is well worth the money. The helmet is incredibly light, quiet and has amazing vision. Plus, shit, it's protecting your most valuable asset.

I hate the full face helmet honestly. I rode without it today in Tampa. Shockingly enough, girls started straight staring. Had the Jacket on, jeans, and glasses. I was like this is ridiculous. I had two girls start weaving in traffic to get my attention(fat) and one black girl actually got out of her car and gave me her number. She was cute for a black girl too. So now I'm having a really strong eternal debate about helmet choice. I think I may go half helmet, the full is bulky and hot and girls can't see that I'm not an old man. I mean when the helmet came off...I got a ton of attention. And shit...I like female attention. Kind of way better than what MD has to go through daily and not being visible to the opposite sex
